 Q.KNOW NAMED TO MICROSOFT’S
INSURANCE VALUE CHAIN

Joining Microsoft at the Industry’s
Distinguished Greenbrier Conference

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV– October 5, 2006 – Q.Know Technologies Inc., a global provider of advanced information management software, announced today that it has been named by Microsoft as the newest member of its Insurance Value Chain (IVC) program. As such, Q.Know has been invited to demonstrate its enterprise software as Microsoft’s guest in the Cyber Café at the prestigious Insurance Leadership Forum, hosted by the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, October 7-11.

Microsoft technologies provide the platform for independent software vendors – like Q.Know Technologies – to create innovative, high-performance, flexible applications that interoperate with existing systems and leverage a familiar operational environment. Microsoft’s Insurance Value Chain Program is a growing ecosystem of insurance partners that address key solution areas across the industry — from point-of-sale and service to policy administration and claims processing — by leveraging Microsoft’s core strengths in front- and back-office technologies. The IVC has grown from a handful of insurance application partners to more than 60 insurance solution and service providers, with the common goal of providing innovative, straight-through processing for insurance on the Microsoft platform using Web services, Extensible Markup Language (XML) and industry-specific standards.

“People who work for insurance companies, large and small, are beginning to reap the rewards of new systems built by the IVC family of independent software vendors and systems integrators that can connect with internally developed applications,” said Bill Hartnett, industry solutions director for Microsoft’s U.S. Insurance Group. “We are proud to add Q.Know Technologies to this group of companies that are delivering real value on the familiar Microsoft Outlook platform to grow and enhance our user base.”

Working seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook, Q.Know solves the problem of isolated information silos by working across all applications and all users throughout the entire enterprise to instantly file, organize and manage the massive volumes of electronic information – including e-mail – right from within the Inbox.

With a simple click-of–the-mouse, Q.Know users can instantly retrieve all company-wide information (structured and unstructured) on any topic – including related e-mail, documents, Web files, etc.

Q.Know is a next-generation information-based interface that provides users with complete and current information across the organization for comprehensive document management and collaboration.

“When we conceived Q.Know as the logical manner in which to organize and manage all electronic information, Microsoft Outlook was the obvious platform on which to base the application to ensure ease-of-use and adoptability,” said Vineet Kalucha, president, Q.Know Technologies, Inc.

Q.Know Technologies, Inc. develops software that solves the most challenging problem in business computing – the ability to automatically and accurately file, retrieve, manage and share unstructured electronic information. The result is instant access to enterprise-wide information, real-time deal visibility, ensured regulatory compliance and improved customer satisfaction. Q.Know works seamlessly across existing applications, such as Microsoft Outlook® and Office®, and is quickly implemented and easily learned. For more information, please visit www.qknow.com.
