Q.KNOW TECHNOLOGIES, INC. CONDUCTS ITS OFFICIAL COMPANY LAUNCH AT THE WORLD INSURANCE FORUM
WORLD INSURANCE FORUM, Bermuda – June 9, 2004 – Q.Know Technologies Inc., a global provider of information management software for the financial services industry, conducted its official company launch at the World Insurance Forum, held in Bermuda, June 7-9.
The conference offered an excellent venue for Q.Know to introduce its information management solution to the almost 700 senior executives from the financial services industry, including insurance, reinsurance, brokerage, asset management and investment banking. The product was extremely well received due to the credibility gained by presenting an impressive client roster, including Renaissance Re, Arch Re and IPCRe.
In addition to participating as a conference sponsor, Q.Know served as a timely resource for technological insight as panel discussions focused intensely on issues that Q.Know was created to solve, such as:
-
Eliminating costly, avoidable errors, when deal-related information is lost or managed inefficiently;
-
Improving top line growth and productivity by writing more deals;
-
Empowering underwriting teams and brokers with shared access to mission critical information;
-
Lowering operating costs with efficient technology investments that perform as promised; and
-
Enhancing compliance and corporate best practices.
"In an environment of technology skepticism, we made a careful decision to build the product quietly with a team of highly qualified technologists and well respected companies before opening the product offering to the financial services community more broadly," said Richard E. Meyer, chairman of Q.Know. "This approach gave the company launch the credibility and enthusiasm we had hoped to achieve."
Q.Know's software solution was built to address the overwhelming amount of electronic information – such as e-mail, documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, Web pages and graphics files – needed in transaction-oriented businesses. Specifically, Q.Know targets industries such as insurance and reinsurance, investment and commercial banking, securities and finance companies where the business processes are centralized around high value financial transactions in a heavily regulated environment.
By providing more efficient and complete access to electronic information, Q.Know enables companies to improve their bottom line through better decision making, improved deal quality and increased customer satisfaction.
"Given Q.Know’s broad applicability across different market segments and size of organizations, we believe this product offers something very exciting which will change the way people interact with their computers," said Vineet Kalucha, Q.Know president and chief executive officer.
Q.Know Technologies, Inc. has created the first information management software based on how people really think and work. Q.Know offers a simple and intuitive approach to retrieving, sharing and managing information, enhancing deal development and execution with more efficient and complete access to data. The result is real time deal visibility, ensured regulatory compliance and improved customer satisfaction. Q.Know works seamlessly with existing applications, such as Microsoft® Outlook® and Office, and is quickly implemented and easily learned. For more information, please visit www.qknow.com.
